If your flight arrives at its destination more than three hours late and the delay was within the airline's control, you may be eligible to claim compensation under EU261 or UK261 regulations.
In addition to financial compensation, if the delay results in extended waiting times at the airport, the airline is required to provide complimentary food, drinks, and access to essential services to support your comfort while you wait.
Compensation for flight delays is fixed and depends on the distance of your journey, not the ticket price. Under EU261 and UK261 regulations, you may be entitled to £220 for flights up to 1,500 km, £350 for flights between 1,500 km and 3,500 km, and £520 for flights over 3,500 km. These amounts are per passenger and apply regardless of the fare paid.
If your flight was delayed or cancelled and the disruption was the airline's responsibility, you may be entitled to compensation of up to £520 under UK261 or EU261 regulations. We manage claims for all airlines operating to and from Europe, making the process simple, efficient and stress free so you can get the compensation you deserve without the hassle.
Once we begin handling your claim, some airlines may contact you directly. If this occurs, please notify us and forward any correspondence you receive. Doing so helps avoid delays and ensures your claim continues to be managed smoothly and efficiently.
If your claim is successful and the airline pays you directly, our service fee will still apply to cover the costs we have incurred, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
Air Passenger Rights Regulations under EU261 and UK261 also apply to package holidays. If your flight is delayed or cancelled, you may still be eligible for compensation, even if the booking was made through a tour operator. Your rights remain fully protected regardless of how your trip was arranged or who you booked with.
